Wellesley Island Market and Wellesley Island Wine & Spirits, formerly known as the Fineview Mini Mart, are open and proud to be part of the Wellesley Island community.

The Market offers a variety of groceries and general merchandise, including locally made products such as cheeses, coffees, and St. Lawrence River-themed gift items that highlight the talents of regional artisans and businesses. Our kitchen serves made-to-order pizza, subs, and sandwiches daily, and the Ice Cream Window is a favorite stop during the warmer months, featuring a wide selection of Hershey’s Ice Cream flavors.

The retail fueling station has been completely rebuilt and is open for gas and diesel, with plans in place to add electric vehicle charging stations in the near future.

Next door, Wellesley Island Wine & Spirits provides a curated selection of fine wines and liquors.

This project was inspired by the vision of John Durand, founder of Wellesley Island Building Supply, who loved the Island and valued the friendships he built here. He and his brothers recognized the need to bring back essential retail services for the River community and seasonal visitors. Though John passed away in 2021, his family carried forward that vision and made it a reality.
